Bos taurus colostrum
The nutrient-dense first milk produced by cows within the initial 24–72 hours after calving. Bovine colostrum is rich in immunoglobulins (primarily IgG), lactoferrin, growth factors (IGF-1, TGF-β), and proline-rich polypeptides that have been studied for their role in immune modulation and gut barrier integrity.
